Abstract

Food insecurity continues to be a prevalent and highly impactful concern for many Canadians, where families in Nova Scotia are affected above the national average. This environmental scan examines existing drug-free healthy food prescription programs targeting food insecurity, and suggests key recommendations for future program implementation.
