Abstract
Canadians continue to deal with the recent impacts of devastating natural and human-caused disasters in Calgary, Lac-Megantic, and elsewhere. How might the law help or hinder people in rebuilding their homes, businesses and communities? Covering disaster recovery law and policy in Canada from its early roots in the Halifax Explosion of 1917.
