Abstract

William C. Coney is in his second year of studies in the Religious Studies and History Program. He wrote “Optčsne Frixa cum eč?: Creating a Model of the Big Mac in Ancient Rome” for ‘Death, Sex, and Gold in Ancient Rome‘, taught by Dr. Jack Mitchell in Fall of 2012. He is interested in Ancient agriculture, environmental history, and the "average" or "daily" lives of individuals throughout the Antique and Medieval periods.
