Zhaoding Yang

Zhaoding Yang is Assistant Professor of French at Wingate University, where he teaches French language and literature courses. Born and educated in China, he was awarded a prestigious five-year fellowship by the Chinese government to pursue his graduate studies in philosophy at the Université des Sciences Humaines de Strasbourg in France and later received a Ph.D. in French from the University of Minnesota. Before Wingate University he also taught at Salem State College in Massachusetts. Most recently he was visiting scholar at Tsinghua University in Beijing and taught a graduate seminar on French philosophy since World War IL Author of the book Michel Tournier : la conquête de la Grande Santé, he has published works on literature and philosophy.
