Bernadette Höfer is a Junior Fellow at the Society of Fellows at Harvard University. Her articles on Surin and Lafayette have appeared in Cahiers du dix-septième and Papers on Seventeenth Century Literature. She has a forthcoming publication on philosophical spaces of mind/body integration in Seventeenth-Century French Studies and has completed a book-length manuscript on mind/body illness in French seventeenth-century literature.
