Donald M. Bruce

Donald M. Bruce is Dean of Arts and Professor of French at Guelph University, Guelph, Ontario. He is the author of several books and numerous articles on the notion of épistémocritique, the autors Jules Vallès, Jules Verne and Max Nordau. He is currently co-editing (with Christine McWebb, University of Waterloo) a forthcoming issue of the journal Texte. Revue de critique et de théorie littéraire on the interface of science and literature.

Christine McWebb

Christine McWebb is Associate Professor of French at the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario. She has published extensively on the French medieval writer Christine de Pizan and the Roman de la rose. Her book Debating the Roman de la rose: A Critical Anthology will appear in 2006 with Routledge (New York). She and Donald Bruce (Guelph University) are joint editors of a forthcoming issue of the journal Texte. Revue de critique et de théorie littéraire on the interface of science and literature.
