Maryann De Julio is Assistant Professor of French at Kent State University. Her research interests include modern poetry, film, and literary criticism. She is cotranslator (with Jane Staw) of Emmanuel Hocquard's Une ]ournée dans le détroit / A Day in the Strait. She is presently completing a full-length study of the contemporary French poet and art critic Jacques Dupin.
