Jean Anderson

Jean Anderson is Associate Professor (Reader) of French at Victoria University of Wellington, where she founded the New Zealand Centre for Literary Translation in 2007. She is editor of the New Zealand Journal of French Studies. Her research interests include French Polynesian writing, late ninteenth-century prose and contemporary women's writing. She is currently co-editing a collection of essays on Belle Epoque women authors‘ representations of men (Écrire les hommes, forthcoming 2012, Presses Universitaires de Vincennes) and one on the role of the foreign in international crime fiction (forthcoming 2012, Continuum Books).
