Helena Chadderton

Helena Chadderton is Lecturer in French at the University of Hull, UK. She is the author of Marie Darrieussecq‘s Textual Worlds: Self, Society, Language (2012) as well as several articles on Darrieussecq. More broadly her research interests include contemporary fiction, women‘s writing, narrative theory, stylistics, the relationship between text, self, and society, and the development of politically committed literature in a postmodern world. She is a committee member for the Association for the Study of Modern and Contemporary France.
