Julie Rodgers is Lecturer at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, Republic of Ireland. She is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin where she completed a BA Hons in French and English and a PhD (2008) in French. Her research interests are concentrated in the domains of contemporary women‘s writing in French, Quebec literature, migrant writing, and motherhood studies. She has published a number of articles on Ying Chen, Francine Noël, Gabrielle Roy, and Simone de Beauvoir in a range of international journals. She is currently a member of the executive committees of ADEFFI (Association des études françaises et francophones en Irlande) and ACSI (Association of Canadian Studies in Ireland). She is the annual contributor of the review of French-Canadian Literature for the YWMLS (Year‘s Work in Modern Language Studies).
