Simon Kemp

Simon Kemp is Fellow and Tutor for French at Somerville College, Oxford, UK. His latest monograph is French Fiction into the Twenty-First Century: The Return to the Story (2010), exploring the use of narrative form in Marie Darrieussecq, Annie Ernaux, Jean Echenoz, Pascal Quignard, and Patrick Modiano. He is currently working on the representation of consciousness in French literature from Proust to Darrieussecq.
