Paula Leverage

Dr. Paula Leverage is an Assistant Professor of French and Medieval Studies at Purdue University. She completed her PhD at the Center for Medieval Studies of the University of.Toronto, and her undergraduate degree at Cambridge University. Her research, which focuses on Old French and Occitan literature with particular emphasis on the chansons de geste, has been published in Romania, Olifant, Romance Notes, and Romance Languages Annual, as well as in book collections. She writes on memory and cognitive approaches to literary analysis as well as on the intersection between secular literature and religious institutions.
