Anne-Marie Obajtek-Kirkwood is Assistant Professor of French at Drexel University. Her research interests include 20th and 21st century French and Francophone Literature, representations of the Occupation, war, minorities in France, autobiography, feminist issues. She has published, among others, on Simone de Beauvoir, Patrick Modiano, Jean-Noël Pancrazi, Geneviève Brisac, Viviane Forrester and Frédéric Beigbeder. She is currently co-editing a collection of articles on Signs of War (mainly the current Iraq War).
