Dana Strand is Professor of French and Chair of the Department of Romance Languages at Carleton College, Northfield, Minnesota. She has published a book on the short-stories of Colette as well as articles on twentieth-century French literature. She is currently co-editing a volume of essays on French Cultural Studies with Marie-Pierre Le Hir.
