Ruth P. Thomas

Ruth P. Thomas is Professor of French at Temple University. She bas published articles on Marivaux, Voltaire, Diderot, and others, as well as on the heroines of eighteenthcentury French novels. She bas also written on Madame de Lafayette, Scarron, and Constant. She bas published most recently on Madame Riccoboni and Madame de Charrière and continues to work on eighteenth-century French novels by women.
