Marc Lapprand

Marc Lapprand completed his Ph.D. at the University of Toronto with a thesis on Boris Vian. Having published several articles on Vian, he is currently engaged in research on authors' playful experimentation with language, on the encyclopedic dimension of such authors as Queneau and Perec, and on Oulipo. He has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Victoria since 1989, where he teaches twentieth-century French literature and literary theory.
