Michael Bishop

Michael Bishop is Professor of modern and contemporary French literature and culture at Dalhousie University. Author of numerous books and essays, his most recent publications include Michel Deguy (Rodopi, 1988) and Rene Char: les dernières années (Rodopi, 1990); Philippe Jaccottet is in press (Éditions du Grand Pré). A book on nineteenth-century French poetry is to appear with Twayne in 1991-92.
