Christ as Cornerstone, Worm, and Phoenix in Eriugena‘s Commentary on Dionysius

PAUL ROREM is the B.B. Warfield Professor of Ecclesiastical History at Princeton Theological Seminary, working especially on the Pseudo- Dionysian tradition in the West. Having recently published with John C. Lamoreaux From John of Scythopolis and the Dionysian Corpus (Oxford, Clarendon Press), he has moved on to Eriugena, with a volume related to his article for Dionysius, i.e., Eriugena‘s Commentary on the Dionysian Celestial Hierarchy, which is forthcoming from the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies.
