DYLAN BURNS
DYLAN BURNS holds a Bachelor‘s degree in Religious
Studies from Reed College and a Master‘s in Religious Studies from the
Universiteit van Amsterdam. He is developing socio-critical approaches
to topics in Late Antique Platonism and religious practice, such as
Neoplatonism, Gnosticism, and the Dionysian tradition. He is beginning
work on the Nag Hammadi library and the development of Gnostic studies
within the pre-Nag Hammadi arenas of the Religionsgeschichtliche Schule,
existential philosophy, esotericism, and the early history of religions.
