David D. Butorac
David D. Butorac graduated in 2001 with a Master of Arts in Classics from Dalhousie University, writing a thesis on “The Neoplatonic Prehistory of Augustine‘s Doctrine of the Trinity.” He is currently a PhD candidate at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, completing a dissertation on Proclus‘ interpretation of the dialectic of the Parmenides. His research interests include the development of the soul in Neoplatonism, Latin and Greek Patristics and the Hegelian interpretation of ancient and modern philosophy.
