Tuomo Lankila received his MA in History in 1992 from University of Tampere, Finland, writing a thesis on Moses I. Finley‘s relation to Marxism. After working almost two decades in the information technology field he is currently pursuing doctoral studies at the Universities of Helsinki and Jyväskylä. He is preparing, under the supervision of Professor Taneli Kukkonen and Dr. Pauli Annala, a thesis with the title “Erototokos. Aphrodite in Proclus‘ theology.” He has published articles on Neoplatonism and Early Byzantine History.
