DJIM Call for Submissions – Volume 17

The Dalhousie Journal of Interdisciplinary Management (DJIM) is currently accepting submissions for its 17th volume. DJIM is a student-led initiative aimed at publishing Dalhousie University student work of the highest quality and significance in all areas of management.

Who can Submit?

Students enrolled in all programs in the Faculty of Management, including MBA, MIM/IM, MPA, MREM/MES, BComm, & BMgmt.

What can be Submitted?

We welcome original submissions of research papers, book reviews, business cases, and interviews that engage with all topics related management.

What do we mean by“ Management”?

The interdisciplinary nature of DJIM means that we accept a wide variety of submissions. Think about the issues, theories, trends, and practices discussed in your classes in the Faculty of Management—these are all appropriate paper topics!

Past submissions have been incredibly diverse. We have published papers on biodiversity conservation, information and knowledge management in Star Wars fiction, economic theory, and political whistleblowing (just to name a few). No topic is off topic, as long as it relates to management.

Where to Submit Please send your full submission to by January 16, 2022. We have chosen this date so that you will have a chance to revise papers written for classes in the fall 2020 term over the holiday break. Please see our Submission Guide for more information about the submission process.

Other ways to get Involved:

We invite graduate students to participate in DJIM as volunteer peer reviewers or copy editors. Interested individuals should contact or Those who submit articles are also welcome to volunteer.
