Dr. Elizabeth Scheiber is Assistant Professor of French and Italian at Rider University in New Jersey. She has published articles in Forum Italicum, Modern Language Notes, Simone de Beauvoir Studies, and The International Journal of Francophone Literature and Culture. Her most recent work focuses on symbolic language in the work of Primo Levi and other writers of the Holocaust. She has presented widely at conferences on Primo Levi, Jorge Semprun, and Charlotte Delbo.
