Colin Davis

Colin Davis is Professor of French at Royal Holloway, University of London, UK. His research falls mainly in the area of post-war French literature and thought. His principal publications are Michel Tournier: Philosophy and Fiction (1988), Elie Wiesel's Secretive Texts (1994), Levinas: an Introduction (1996), Ethical Issues in Twentieth-Century French Fiction: Killing the Other (2000), French Fiction in the Mitterrand Years: Memory, Narrative, Desire (co-authored with Elizabeth Fallaize, 2000), After Poststructuralism: Reading, Stories and Theory (2004), and Haunted Subjects: Deconstruction, Psychoanalysis and the Return of the Dead (2007).
