Dr. Léonard Rosmarin is Professor of French literature at Brock University and outgoing president of the Association des départements d'études françaises des universités de l'Ontario. He is the author of three books: Sur les traces de l'hiver (Prentice-Hall), Saint-Evremond, artiste de l'euphorie (Summa Publications), and Albert Cohen (Editions du Grand-Pré), as well as articles on aspects of French literature of the seventeenth, eighteenth and twentieth centuries. He is at present writing a commissioned book on the contemporary French philosopher Emmanuel Lévinas for Le Groupe de recherches en études francophones (Glendon College, York University), and has been commissioned by Twayne Publishers to prepare a work on the novelist Robert Pinget.
