Author Biography

Françoise Mugnier

Dr. Françoise Mugnier teaches French and francophone culture and literature at the University of Toronto at Scarborough. Her present research areas are late 19th French fiction and the literature of Guadeloupe and Martinique. Some of her articles on Barbey d'Aurevilly, Gisèle Pineau and Maryse Condé have appeared in Nineteenth Century French Studies, The Romanic Review, Etudes francophones and Nottingham French Studies.
