Karen Sullivan is an Assistant Professor of French at Queens College/City University of New York where she teaches French literature, specializing in the eighteenth century. Her research interests include aesthetics and the novel, Rousseau and Graffigny, and foreign language pedagogy. Her recent work includes a forthcoming book on Rousseau's Julie ou La Nouvelle Héloïse and an article on language pedagogy in The French Review.
