Robert L. Mazzola is an independent scholar living in Denver, Colorado, who has previously taught at the University of Connecticut at Stamford and Wagner College, New York. He has published articles on Duras in Dalhousie French Studies (1995) and in Marguerite Duras Lives On (The Journal of Durassian Studies, 1998). His translation of Luce Irigaray's "Égales à qui ?" has been published in différences: A Journal of Feminist Cultural Studies (Summer 1989) and subsequently in The Essential Difference (Indiana University Press, 1994) and The Postmodern God: A Theological Reader (Blackwell, 1997). He is currently preparing an essay on Kathy Acker's Literai Madness.
