R. Christopher Coski is an Assistant Professor at Ohio University, teaching French literature of the sixteenth through eighteenth centuries. His work on eighteenth-century philosophers includes studies on Condillac, Maupertuis, and Rousseau, and has appeared in Dalhousie French Studies, 1650-1850, the French Forum, Working Papers in Romance Literatures and Philology, and will also soon appear in the French Review. He is currently completing a project on Diderot.
