Catherine Rodgers, Senior Lecturer in French at Swansea University, has research interests in French feminist theory and the contemporary novel in which fields she has several publications. In particular, she is the co-editor of Marguerite Duras : Lectures plurielles (Rodopi, 1998). Le deuxième Sexe : un héritage admiré et contesté (L'Harmattan, 1998), her second book, is a collection of interviews of leading French feminist writers. Her next co-edited book Nouvelles écrivaines, nouvelles voix ? is a collection of essays on contemporary French women writers (Rodopi, 2002).
