Peter Schulman

Peter Schulman is Associate Professor of French at Old Dominion University. He is the author of The Sunday of Fiction: The Modern French Eccentric (West Lafayette: Purdue University Press, 2003); Le Dernier livre du siècle (Paris: Romillat, 2001) and co-editor of Rhine Crossings: France and Germany in Love and War with Aminia Brueggemann (Albany: SUNY Press, 2005); Chasing Esther: Jewish Expressions of Cultural Difference with David Metzger (Santa Monica/Haifa: Kol Katan Press, 2005) and The Marketing of Eros: Performance, Sexuality and Consumer Culture with Frederick A. Lubich (Essen: Die Blaue Eule Press, 2003). He wrote the introduction and notes for a new translation of Les 500 millions de la Bégum (The Begum's Millions) published by Wesleyan University Press (2005) and is currently translating, and writing the notes for Verne's Le Secret de Wilhelm Storitz for the University of Nebraska Press.
