Alexander Hertich is Associate Professor of French at Bradley University. He has published in French and English on Patrick Modiano, Jean-Philippe Toussaint, Marie NDiaye, and Raymond Queneau as well as other modern French writers. He is also an active translator. His translations of contemporary French fiction have appeared in the Best European Fiction series and his translation of René Belletto‘s novel Dying was a finalist for the French-American Foundation Annual Translation Prize.
