Cosmas K.M. Badasu is a Senior Lecturer (on post-retirement contract) in the Department of French, University of Ghana, where he teaches Literary Theory, Literary Criticism, Theory of Translation and other courses in Translation. He obtained his Ph.D. in French Literature from the University of Alberta. He is the author of a book entitled Le Même et l‘Autre: Espace et rapports de pouvoir dans le roman français (1871-1914). He has also published articles on selected works of the following French and Francophone African authors: Honoré de Balzac, Albert Camus, Emile Zola, Mongo Beti, Calixthe Beyala, Ferdinand Oyono and Ousmane Sembene.
