Catherine Rodgers is Senior Lecturer in French at Swansea University, UK, and has research interests in French feminist theory and the contemporary novel. She is the co-editor of Marguerite Duras: lectures plurielles (1998). Le Deuxième sexe: un héritage admiré et contesté (1998), her second book, is a collection of interviews of leading French feminist writers. Her next co-edited (with Nathalie Morello) book, Nouvelles écrivaines, nouvelles voix? (2002), is a collection of essays on contemporary French women writers. She edited Hommage à Marguerite Duras, special issue of Bulletin de la Société Marguerite Duras (2006), and has published articles on writers such as Amélie Nothomb, Camille Laurens, Anne-Marie Garat, and Marie Darrieussecq. She is a member of the editorial board of Romance Studies and vice-president of the Société Marguerite Duras.
