Kathryn M. Talarico received her Ph.D. from New York University in 1980. She is currently Associate Professor of French and Chair of the Department of Modern Languages at The College of Staten Island, City University of New York. Her recent work includes "Cyberspace without Tears: Fundamental Approaches to the Uses of Technology in the Classroom," Literary and Linguistic Computing (Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2000): 199-210; and "Romancing the Grail: Fiction and Theology in the Queste del Saint Graal," Arthurian Literature and Christianity: Notes from the Twentieth Century (New York: Garland, 1999): 29-59. She is working on an English translation of Galeran de Bretagne, and on a study of the physiognomic traditions of the Secret des Secrets.
