Aimée Israël-Pelletier is Associate Professor and Head of French at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is the author of Flaubert's Straight and Suspect Saints: The Unity of "Trois contes" and of articles on Rimbaud. She is at present finishing a book on Impressionist aesthetics and ideology in Rimbaud and Zola.
