Author Biography

Sima Kappeler

Sima Kappeler wrote her thesis with Barbara Johnson at Harvard University and was awarded the Ph.D. in 1993. She has published First Encounters: French and German Prose ( 1830-1883). She currently lives in Zurich where she teaches at the Institute for Continuing Education (Volkshochschule).
