Author Biography

Erin Isikoff

Erin lsikoff earned her Ph.D. from Columbia University in May 1995. She specializes in eighteenth-century British literature and painting, and in the novel of manners. Her article, "Masquerade, Modesty, and Comedy in Hannah Cowley's The Belle's Stratagem," appeared in Gail Finney's Look Who's Laughing: Gender and Comedy (1994). She is currently teaching as an adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University, and working on a novel of historical fiction.
