Margaret Miner teaches French literature at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her interests include poetry and poetics, fantastic fiction of the nineteenth century, and relations between music and literature. She is the author of Resonant Gaps: Between Baudelaire and Wagner (1995) and of articles on Baudelaire, Rimbaud, Mallarme, and the fantastic in music journalism.
