Author Biography

Renée Riese Hubert

Renee Riese Hubert is Professor Emerita of Comparative Literature and French at the University of California, Irvine. She is the author of six volumes of poetry, a study on book illustration, Surrealism and the Book, as well as many articles on poetry and the relation of art and literature. She is presently engaged in a booklength study entitled Women, Surrealism and Partnership in which she studies the dynamics of the artist couple.
