Author Biography

Alba Amoia

Alba Amoia has been living in Rome since her early retirement from the Department of Romance Languages at Hunter College, City University of New York. She is the recipient of research grants from CUNY, the American Philosophical Society, and the Rockefeller Foundation. She is also a Fulbright scholar. Aside from many articles on French and Italian theatre, she is also the author of Jean Anouilh, Edmond Rostand, Albert Camus, Unpublished Letters of Baron Grimm, The Italian Theatre Today, Thomas Mann's Fiorenza, and Twentieth-Century Italian Women Novelists.
