Yvonne Y. Hsieh

Yvonne Y. Hsieh is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of French at the University of Victoria. The author of Segalen 's Literary Encounter with China: Chinese Moulds, Western Thoughts (1988) and From Occupation to Revolution: China through the Eyes of Loti, Claudel, Segalen, and Malraux (1895-1933) (1996), she is currently working on contemporary French theatre, in particular Michel Vinaver and Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt.
