Virginia Krause is Assistant Professor of French Studies at Brown University. Her primary areas of research interest are sixteenth-century literature and culture, materialist theories of literature, and narrative theory. Her current research interests include the sixteenth-century romance phenomenon.
Christian Martin is Visiting Assistant of French at Bowdoin College. He is a twentieth-century literature and theory specialist currently writing a book on Roland Barthes and the ethics of literture.
