Anne E. Duggan

Anne E. Duggan is a Ph.D. candidate in French at the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis. She is currently writing her dissertation on political constructions and critiques in the works of Madeleine de Scudéry and Marie-Catherine d'Aulnoy. Forthcoming publications include "Gossip and/as History: Madeleine de Scudéry's Gazette de Tendre," "The Ticquet Affair as Recounted in Madame Dunoyer's Lettres historiques et galantes: The Defiant galante femme," and "Feminine Genealogy, Matriarchy, and Utopia in the Fairy Tale of Marie-Catherine d'Aulnoy."
