WAYNE J. HANKEY

WAYNE J. HANKEY studied Classics, philosophy, and theology at King‘s College (Halifax), Dalhousie University, the University of Toronto, and at Oxford University and has held posts at these and at York University (Toronto). At present, he is Carnegie Professor of Classics at King‘s College and Dalhousie University and is Secretary and Editor of Dionysius. His God in Himself, Aquinas‘ Doctrine of God as Expounded in the Summa Theologiae was reprinted in 2000 by Oxford University Press in the series “Oxford Scholarly Classics.” At present, together with Jean-Marc Narbonne, he is finishing a book to be published in French, English, and Russian on Lévinas and the Greek heritage and the retrieval of Neoplatonism in twentieth-century French philosophy and theology.
