Adam Labecki recently completed his MA in Classics at
Dalhousie University with a thesis on the Plotinian Ine as First cause and
essential number as that which is first caused. His paper, “The One and the
Many: Part I: The one,” is a summarized reproduction of the first half of
the above thesis and Part II will bear the same relation to the second part
