Philosophical Grounds for Mystical Intuition in Plotinus

Ritsuko Okano was a visiting scholar at the UPR 76 of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in Paris from 1991 to 1992. She received the Doctor of Philosophy in Philosophy from Gakushuin University (Tokyo) in 1996 for her dissertation on the indefinite aspect of Intellect in Plotinus. She is currently working on a book on Plotinus‘ epistemology (Tokyo: Chisenshokan). She also works on the representative philosopher of Japan, KitarŠ Nishida.
