Anna Zhyrkova holds a PhD in the field of Patristics from the Catholic University of Lublin (Poland). Her doctoral thesis focuses on the philosophy of Christian Neoplatonist John of Damascus. Her postdoctoral research at Tel Aviv University, devoted to the interpretation of the Aristotelian categories in the Platonic tradition, is to be finalized as a habilitation thesis in Poland.
