Emily Parker graduated in May 2010 with an MA in Classics from Dalhousie University, writing a thesis entitled “Swiftly Runs the Word: Philo‘s Doctrine of Mediation in De Vita Mosis” under the supervision of Dr Wayne Hankey. She is currently pursuing a doctorate at Trinity College Dublin at the School of Religions, Theology, and Ecumenics and the Center for the Study of the Platonic Tradition, where she is working on a dissertation which examines Philo‘s political philosophy in De Iosepho.
