Cardinals extend P Lee through 2020, add WR Little

The Arizona Cardinals signed punter Andy Lee to a two-year contract extension, the team announced Thursday.

The 35-year-old set a franchise record with a gross average of 47.3 yards in 2017, his first season with the Cardinals. That figure ranked seventh in the NFL on the year, but Lee's 39.7 net average was 25th in the league and just a tenth better than his worst mark since 2010 (39.6 in 2014).

The Cardinals signed Lee as a free agent last September after short stints with the Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers. Arizona also signed wide receiver Greg Little and released wideout Cobi Hamilton.
